My husband and I saw one of these a few years ago at Wal-Mart. He wanted to buy it and I wouldn’t let him because we didn’t need it. He still brings it up every once in a while. Today he made me google and it and I found your video! His dream of owning one is still alive! thanks!! lol

It’s actually a OTF (out the front) switchblade, not a stiletto. Though the name stiletto is often used in modern day slang, the stiletto is a thin dagger made for stabbing.

It’s produced (or was produced) by Chef’n and it’s called “PopOut Peeler” from what I can see. Any place that lists it as a product, has it out of stock, with no ETA on restock. It’s on Amazon as well as a few other sites that way.

and I didn’t see any mention of it on the Chef’n web site.

Diana, I thought high heeled shoe at first too.

Also the chopsticks in your drawer have a ridiculously bad translation on them, I believe, if they are the same ones I get in my dining hall at college.

And am I the only one who thought “high-heeled shoe” when I read the word stiletto? I am still trying to wrap my brain around peeling potatoes with a shoe heel…

I have one of these. My mom and I got several when we found them. Unfortunately (I suppose), I got it in Montreal. I don’t go to kitchen stores here in the states, but I imagine they might have them, too.
