I never heard that word before, but I guessed and I was right! The probability of that has got to be really low…this is a little freaky…

In one of those weird twists in life, I had never seen or heard the word immix before. But twice today – I was surfing on amazon.com and came across a review on a book called “Kill Flash”. The reviewer took issue with obscure words used in the book, and lo and behold it was on the list. You can’t make this stuff up.

Congrats to you and Kara for six years of 5 Questions. I NEVER miss it (actually meaning if I skip a day, I always go back to any I missed). And I love the titles – that brief period last summer with only dates as titles really disturbed me. Maybe I need more of a life…..

That was my first thought, Tom; that “Immix” was a company name rather than a word. I was surprised when it appeared in the dictionary. I guess it’s just so close to “mix” that it dropped off the English language radar after a while.

Immix is also the name of a small wireless phone provider in Central PA.
