“Why Cats Paint” and its companion volume "Why Paint Cats" are parodies. Very deftly authored, but parodies nonetheless.

Ok, maybe a pet peeve of mine, but Koopa is a tortoise... not a turtle. Turtles have flippers, tortoises have feet. Turtles prefer water, tortoises sink.

I know... I know... common usage for any shelled reptile is "turtle" but it still rubs me raw!

I gotta agree with toddes on this one, except for the elephant paintings, that's just amazing!

As for the others, anyone, human or otherwise, can make a bunch of lines and splotches on a piece of paper. Although it is impressive that they can be trained to hold the paintbrush.

I would buy the chimp one because at least it's for charity! I would never in a million years buy a Jackson Pollock painting (despite the fact that I can't afford one).

What?! Not going to mention cats that paint. They even got a book, "Why Cats Paint". It is pretty funny. One cat, Tiger, even has a song written about him by Imperial Drag!

I actually have a Cheeta painting. It's quite colorful. He uses a non-toxic paint. Ungawa!

Sweet! I just found Christmas presents for next year! I love animals and these paintings are at least as good as Jackson Pollock's.

Duke, the turtle Koopa is quite old, so health problems are inevitable. Stewie was not old, but he didn't paint a lot, either.

I wouldn't think any of these animals used paints that produced fumes.
