Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson were college roomates and football teammates at the University of Arkansas. Jerry would one day buy the Dallas Cowboys and make his old roomate Jimmy the coach. Johnson took the Cowboys to the SuperBowl, but he and Jerry had a falling out and he was replaced as coach

Jim Nantz (CBS Sports Broadcaster) and Fred Couples (Pro Golfer) were roomies at the University of Houston. There’s some story about one or both of them predicting that Couples would win the Masters (and that Nantz would be covering it and there for the jacket presentation), which happened in 1992.
