I drive through Hell (the one in Norway) regularly, it’s between my home and the nearest airport. I always enjoy watching the foreigners on the airport coach – the first building you see when leaving the airport is Hell Hotel.

Oh, and “hell” is the modern Norwegian word for “luck”, not “hellir”.

Amusingly enough I got the hell scared out of me in Hell, Norway. Was down on the train tracks when my mother shrieked. It scared the hell out of me and I literally sprang up to safety from the rails. The train? It took a good minute to reach where I was :P

Also, the sign, “Gods Expedition” more accurately translates to “Goods shipping” (or Goods Expedition if you’d rather).

I have been to Hell, Grand Cayman. Your picture doesn’t do it justice. I sent my family a post card from the gift shop that said ” Greetings from Hell. Wish you were here”.

My old coworker used to work for a company called Hell. The company told them to pick up the phone saying “Hello, Welcome to Hell”

Coincidentally, she also hated that job and used to tell us that “it was hell … LITERALLY”

Maybe Wyoming comes up because of Hell’s Half Acre? This is a spot in Wyoming that looks like an alien landscape – in fact, it was used in the movie “Starship Troopers” as the alien bug planet. Sadly, it’s now closed, but seeing as it’s directly next to the highway, you can still see it.

Having grown up in the wonderful state of Michigan, you would every now and then see this bumper sticker: It’s a black sticker with red letters that reads “I’ll see you in HELL (michigan).

If you’re already in Hell, can you really purchase tickets “to Hell and back”? Wouldn’t you have to get those elsewhere, and then go to Hell, and then come back? In Hell, wouldn’t one purchase tickets from Hell and back to Hell.

I would love to go to Hell, any of these listed. They sound like fun!
