Of all the brilliant characters the writers of The Simpsons have gifted to popular culture over the years, Ralph Wiggum is one of the few who make me giddily happy to the point of embarrassment. It’s nice to see other people appreciate Ralph Wiggam as much as me. Although, I would have to disagree with the spelling on “umpossible.” I would have spelled it “unpossible.”

Personally, my favorite Ralph line is when the kids are having a fruit race on the bus and Ralph drops in his fruit and proclaims, “Go Banana!”

Have to agree with “unpossible” (still a great one – a guy from my high school used it as his senior yearbook quote and I was jealous I hadn’t thought of it)
“Teacher, there’s a dog in the vent!”
“Ralph, remember the time you said Snagglepuss was outside?”
“He was going to the bathroom!”
(after they leave the electric chair on) “He’s gonna smell like hotdogs!”
Also apparently the name “Wiggum” comes from the last name of some of Matt Groening’s cousins… I know because I used to work with one.

Great quiz. I only missed one!
“They taste like burning” is one of my favorite quotes by Ralph.
Another great moment is in the episode where Lisa becomes a vegetarian and all the kids at school are mocking her.
Ralph exclaims, “I can’t believe I used to go out with you!”

Ralph is by far my favorite character on The Simpsons. The quote that cracks me up everytime (and the pictures is on here) is “I’m a Uni-tard!” when he puts the ice cream cone on his forehead. HI-Larious.

Yeah Milhouse says “Make way for grapefruit!” not Nelson. And I think that Ralph says Super Nintendo Chompers instead of Chalmers.

I LOVE the episode where the ‘superstars’ are taken awy on a bus coz the school doesn’t want them to lower the schools test scores… this is Ralphs BEST episode!!!!! He says he needs to go to the toilet and starts singing ‘so tell me what you want, what you really really want. so I’ll tell you what I want, what I really really want’. them the principal asks if hes done and Ralph says ‘I finished before we came in’. later hes on a trash ship-he picks up a rat and says ‘im playing with elmo’, the principal says run so he starts running in a circle! you have to see it ! its awesome!!!!!!
