(I also omitted the U.S.'s other close neighbor, Mexico.) Because I was able to write about just a few, I wanted to make sure I had a good geographic distribution. Granted, I left out North America and Antarctica. (I hope the Antarctican people will forgive me.) Hopefully, I'll be able to write on this subject again!
