Sarah: I know why the identical twins skipped everyone in your family. Identical twins isn't hereditary. Identicals happen when the egg splits during the first week or so of a pregnancy. There is no genetic link to this event, though it happens slightly more frequently to older mothers.

Only fraternal twins is hereditary, and only on the side of the potential mother. There is a genetic trait of throwing more than one egg in a cycle, which would only affect the potential mother.

And I have a set of twins (hence my knowledge), and one of them was in a soap opera at 10 weeks old. Covered in cream cheese and grape jelly. Couldn't eat bagels for a year.

Apparently, the woman in California who just had the octupi...I mean, octuplets, all ready had 6 kids. Geez, lady, why so greedy??

And also, I find this fascination with big families weird. In my parents generation, it was usual for people to grow up with huge families - my mom is one of 10, my dad, one of 15. But I guess that's to be expected in Irish Roman Catholic families...

"cream cheese and jam are used to give them that authentic “fresh out of the uterus” look."

I shall never enjoy a bagel again.

@Chelsea - My boyfriend and I are such "Futurama" (and "Dr. Who"!) fans that, if/when we ever have kids, we'll name our first daughter "Leela." But we love Katey best in "Sons of Anarchy"; it's the role I really believe she was born to play! She's devastating and brilliant.
