Yeah, I wish I had known of these schools way earlier. Wouldn't have to take up loan.

But what I would like to know now is if there is any graduate school that would fully sponsor tuition for international students? I am trying to get an MBA but not financially able. HELP!

Nice collection of tuition free institutions.

Admission is competitive so it's best for high school students to start preparing early!

I'm also a current College of the Ozarks student, and I have to say, NicoNicoNico is incorrect; we do allow transfer students, I have a lot of friends who are transfer students. And obviously, NicoNicoNico was here at homecoming...we cheer for ALL the floats in the parade. And it wasn't a "fundraiser fair," it was the homecoming booths. The booth with the piglets was Delta Tau Alpha, the agriculture honor society. And yeah, we have a good agriculture department...it's the third largest major on campus. What difference does it make? I resent the insinuation, being, as I am, an Animal Science/Agribusiness major and the student manager of the agriculture office.

As Caleb pointed out (and ha! Caleb, I totally saw your name and told my roommate, "Hey, Caleb _________ posted on here!"), it's very competitive to get in. But it's really worth it. The professors are amazing, the campus is beautiful, and yeah, while it is very conservative, you get an amazing education, free tuition, and awesome work experience. I'm coming out of college with two years of management experience. I've been to England and Ireland (and the college footed the bill!), I got to help teach a class, and I've learned SO many things. I graduate this December, and I will miss C of O. It's been an amazing experience.

I am a current College of the Ozarks student. It is awesome to be where I am. They have added several new majors, and some brand new facilities. Getting in is very tough. The acceptance rate is around 10%. You do not necessarily have to be poor to go. HOWEVER, you must have even better grades. Each year there are roughly 3000 people that apply 300 that get in. Then 30 are non-need based. www.cofo.edu has a lot of good information. Each student is required to work 15 hours a week. I work at the restaurant (Dobyns Dining Room) serving, its one of the few work stations where you can actually make money. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I am a sophomore majoring in business with an emphasis in marketing. Then Pre-Law on the side too.

My mom knew a girl (her friend's daughter) that was almost kicked out of College of the Ozarks about 10 years ago. They are SUPER conservative. They got mad because they found out she had her naval pierced. They gave her the option of removing it and staying at the school, which she did.

"While the service academies are an unbeatable deal (in addition to free tuition and room/board, you also get a stipend), getting in isn’t nearly as easy as you imply. Acceptance rates at the academies are among the lowest in the country."

I got in and I'm an idiot.

I'm a Berea College graduate from the mid 90's, and it was a great school. Cheap school, but not a cheap education. I did leave school in debt, but it was $500, paid off that summer!
