I don’t have a favorite movie, but I certainly have 10 I can watch over and over again. Quiz Show is one of those 10, and not only because I’m a quiz show nut myself, but because I’m a big Ralph Fiennes fan and an even bigger John Turturro fan.

I enjoyed writing this quiz because it gave me a chance to go meta (lookout!) Yes, it’s the quiz within the quiz. You not only have to know the film, you have to know the answers to the questions posed in the film, right and wrong! Watch out now… there could be some tricky ones. How do you think you’ll score? Give it a whirl and find out.

  1. Richard Goodwin’s book is a memoir called Remembering America: A voice from the Sixties. It is not a novel.

Thanks for another great movies quiz!

Just one slight correction, based on the one question I missed:

Richard Goodwin wrote the MEMOIR the movie is based on. It’s not a novel. Per Amazon.com: Remembering America…this inspiring memoir, adviser and speechwriter Richard N. Goodwin evokes the hopes, dreams, and ideals of an extraordinary and turbulent decade. Calling the book a novel makes it seem like Goodwin made up the story. No biggie, but I know we like to get all the facts here at mental_floss!

Also, cool fact I didn’t know: Goodwin is married to author Doris Kearns Goodwin, who occasionally stirs up controversy with her alleged plagiarism and other no-nos in non-fiction writing!

Keep those great movie quizzes coming!

    Smiles…Carolyn
