Need to get away from it all for a weekend? mental_floss is giving away a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cleveland, including airfare, accommodations, and even some spending money! To promote the event, we’re publishing a selection of rock-related quizzes. Last week’s quiz focused on famous backing vocalists; today’s entry is Elton vs. Billy, which doing double-duty as our Lunchtime Quiz as well!

Got one wrong, #6, which I played over and over again and ultimately chose incorrectly. I’m from Long Island so if I didn’t ace this I was worried I’d be deported. Hope they can forgive my lone error.

16 out of 18.
I’m not a fan of Billy Joel at all. His songs are to corny for me.
However, I am a fan of Elton John. If I didn’t recognize the song I just assumed it was one of Joel’s.
