I went to Caltech and in on-campus housing we got maid service every week, too. They would clean the common areas, and in your bedrooms they would vacuum your floor, wash your sink, etc., but they generally left stuff you had sitting around alone. Although I did hear about one guy who had a bunch of weed scattered around his desk; they put it all back in a baggie he had and laid it all out neatly.

The best perk was in my department, Geology. Somebody had set up a fund that paid for a free 10-day trip to the Big Island of Hawaii during the spring break before graduation to study the volcanoes there. Granted, we camped instead of staying at 5-star hotels, but it was pretty nice.

I remember attending Francis Marion University and getting to play pool and racket ball free at the University Center

Thanks for rubbing this in. I think the free laundry and skiing were my two favourites. When you are at college or university it is a good opportunity to take advantage of all of those things.

At Loyola University New Orleans you get one \get out of jail free\ card. The school will bail you out of jail and provide you with a lawyer once in your four years at school.

I like the free computer strategy, I think few colleges do that, my brother goes to a christian college, giving free laptops is the last thing they would do for students
