		<description>Your article did not mention that metals (aluminum, etc) can also be recycled indefinitely.  Recycling metal also cuts down on the need for mining said metals.  Aluminum and cardboard have the highest rates of actually being recycled into new products where-as plastics, which are an oil based product, barely get recycled at all.  Even though paper only gets recycled a certain number of times, wood is a renewable resource and is also biodegradable.
