My adviser used to dress up as Ada Lovelace when we put together Women in Computing Day every year at college (we brought in a hundred middle school girls to teach them about computing). So great to hear Ada has her own day now. I feel honored to follow in her footsteps :-)

I’m not a tech girl either, but I have to give props to my friend who works at NASA. I say she has extra cool points because 1) She’s a girl 2)She’s an Aeronautical Engineer and 3) She works at NASA which enables me to say “My friend, who works at NASA” in a sentence

I’m not a tech-girl, but I used to bring my computer engineering roommate french fries during her late night sessions at the computer lab during college. I always admired what she and the rest of the (very few) women in the room could do.
