I would also recommend Other People’s Money. Though not technically about shenanigans, it does give some insight into corporate takeovers and their consequences.

Every time I watch Trading Places, I am haunted by the despair in Don Ameche’s voice as his words “Turn those machines back on!” echoes through the empty trading floor.

Really? Boiler Room is on the list and Glengarry Glen Ross is not?
If you think that Boiler Room is good, then see GGR. Boiler Room looks like a child’s crayon drawing in comparison.

But you gotta respect “Boiler Room” for portraying both Ben Affleck and Vin Diesel as total D-bags. I’m guessing they didn’t have to “dig hard” for those roles.
