		<description>Don&#039;t forget the meerkats.  They actively teach their young to hunt scorpions (as opposed to learning just by observance).  

When learning to hunt scorpions, the young are first presented with a dead scorpion.  After that the teacher will remove the stinger from a living scorpion and give it to the tyke.  The adult stays around to corral the prey for the youngster.  From there the pup will be introduced to a fully armed arachnid.
