I chanced upon one of it's first showings in the States during a museum visit. I have a medical background, but it still lent me a far greater understanding of the complex dynamics of the body. I don't know how Herr von Hagen did it, but he made the displays seem respectful instead of creepy. There were some families with small children who wandered through while I was there. Instead of being scared, the kids were fascinated. I highly recommend it. reCaptcha: 1951 ottomans BODY WORLDS is a remarkable exhibition. The story tells he was her physician and shortly she died of tuberculosis. Did she die of natural causes? Don't know if anyone wonder about that before. The Count would follow her around and give her things. The creepiest thing was that there is a picture of Elena that the tour guide shows you. It is super creepy! They also take you past the house where the Count and Elena lived. I went on the Ghost Tour in Key West (I highly recommend it if your going there) and one of the stories they told was Elena’s.
