The Busch family had been at the forefront of Anheuser-Bush until last year. When they took the company public years ago, they did not keep a majority of the shares, and when the vote came last year to sell to Belgian-owned InBev….the vote was to sell. And thus ends the St. Louis brewing royal line :(
