Each of this week’s Brain Games will involve the sport of Major League Baseball. We’ll do our best to keep it on the “casual fan” level so that most of you can participate; good luck!
The home of what Major League Baseball team is
furthest from the home of the next closest MLB team? What teams are #2 and #3 on that same list?
Here are the ANSWERS.
Two cups of coffee, a map and a ruler!!
I must agree.
Interesting. #1 and #2 were easy it was #3 that gave me a hard time.

Greg, the Marlins have the Tampa Bay Rays nearby, so they’re much further down the list.

Don’t forget San Diego, Scott — it’s only about 300 miles from Phoenix.

But which two teams are the closest? I’m having trouble measuring it exactly, but it seems the Yankees and Mets just edge out the Cubs and White Sox at somewhere around 8 miles as the crow flied. Can anyone confirm?
