For more information about rhino’s horn, please read Douglas Adams’ wonderful book “Last Chance To See” written by the guy who wrote the “Hitchikers Guide to the Universe”. In it he discusses different cultures tendencies to confuse “big, hard, sticky-up things” with aphrodisiacs. He reports that no culture actually considers rhino horns to be an aphrodisiac. However, young Middle-Eastern shieks consider prize them as a symbol of manhood and that is where the actual market is. He goes on to point out that the fact that a person needs a symbol of manhood says more about his manhood than the actual possessing of the object. I recommend this book to everyone and have given away several copies.
