Awesome quiz….10 out of 10. And not to be picky but, it’s Lynyrd Skynyrd…not Lynard Skynard:-).

9/10.
If I had to miss any, I’m glad that it was #3.
Eli, you’re not being picky. Skynard is right up there with Led Zepplin or Jimmy Hendrix.
Awesome quiz!

Thanks Eli, but didn’t you ever hear of the cover band Lynard Skynard? They do ‘a’ heck of a Freebird… j/k

10 out of 10! Excellent Quiz. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you had a way to track the time from the moment you hit play to the moment you guessed the song.

9/10. Just as I clicked on PJ Harvey, I realized it was Alanis.
How about a “bass line” quiz?

9 out of 10. John Mayer/Dave Matthews, really what’s the difference. I knew I would get that one wrong.

6/10. I got all the classic rock ones right, I grew up listening to it all the time because of my dad. The more recent songs? Not so much. I guess I should get with this century already.

6/10 for me, too. considering my sporadic listening over the years and general music habits- pretty good! Plus- some good ones on here!

Okay, best fade ever – the end of Layla, you have to wait to hear the “bird”. While Clapton is playing, Duane Allman plays slide guitar with a bottleneck to create the effect. If Duane had not been killed, his name would have been right up there with the greatest of greats…
