In the Jerusalem Central Bus Station, there’s a vending machine that sells holy books for religious Jews to study on their journeys around Israel. I looked for it yesterday when I was there so I could take a picture, but it must have been moved. The books are things like Pirkei Avot, I think.

Not exactly a vending machine, but my favorite is those machines that flatten a penny and imprint something on it. Often found at zoos. I have several pennies from all over the US and am always on the lookout for those machines.

I was in a bar that has since been shut down that had a lobster machine in it. It was $3 a try and if you caught one, the cook would cook it for you for free.

There’s a place in Orange Beach or Gulf Shores, AL that has a lobster vending machine. It’s $2 per try, and a few of the lobsters had $2 bills rubber-banded to their bodies!
