Another “best” in Milwaukee… skipping like Laverne & Shirley and singing their theme song. We did it last summer on the Milwaukee Food Tour and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a laugh! It’s similar to the Lakefront Brew tour, only you are eating & drinking instead of just drinking.

I’m glad everyone here likes Milwaukee buts it’s the ghetto of Wisconsin to most people that live in this state.

Favorite Milw beer: Sprecher Black Bavarian

Best thing to do in Milw: Summerfest. Beer, music and food, in whichever order you prefer. I saw Bob Dylan, Aerosmith, Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, Los Lobos, and about a half dozen BoDeans concerts right there on the lakefront, among many others.

Movie trivia about Milw: Some of the final chase scenes in the original Blues Brothers were filmed in Milw. When the highway runs out and Elwood throws the car into reverse w/ the front tires hanging over the edge, you can see the top of the Marcus Amphitheater in the shot. I think that’s I-94 during its construction.

I also worked w/ someone who was an extra for Major League.

FANTASTIC! I attended a Brewers game in Arizona this spring. After “Take Me OUt to the Ballgame” everyone kept singing and I was totally confused. I forgot all about it til now and I am so glad it was posted here!!! Now I know what they were singing :)
