2) We’re co-hosting a FREE Arts and Music event in Brooklyn Tonight
Join mental_floss (and a whole host of other groups) tonight at “Pollinate” from 6-8 pm at the Galapagos Arts Space in DUMBO. The event will feature all sorts of wonderful free art and music. The Wassaic Project will be there showing off sculptures from new artists. Hotel St. George Press will be presenting new material. And New Amsterdam–the awesome new music label we’ve been writing about these last two days–will be spinning music. (The event is like a pre-party for the month long Undiscovered Islands concert series they’re throwing.)
Oh, and Mangesh will be there handing out FREE MAGAZINES and sipping on beers. Come talk to him and take some things off his hands!

sorry to spoil the fun…but what is the joke in the 2nd t-shirt? i am poorly educated in american pop culture.

septer: There is a series of children’s picture books called “Where’s Waldo?” (in the UK, “Where’s Wally?”). On each page, the reader has to find Waldo/Wally (the man depicted on the 2nd T-shirt above) hidden in large crowds of people. Often, he can be quite hard to find.
