The Arizona Territory spike is currently on display at the Union Pacific Railroad Museum in Council Bluffs, Iowa (the actual eastern terminus for the UP).

I was soooo excited to see the site in Utah last summer during our road trip.... only to discover that the current site is not the REAL site (it's somewhere near the museum but not actually at the museum) and the ACTUAL spike was not there!!

The spike was donated to Stanford but it's not on display there, it's in the private collection and my inquiries to find out about seeing it or anything else about it were never returned by Stanford staff.

@KJ: According to Wikipedia: "After the ceremony, the Golden Spike was donated to the Stanford Museum (now Cantor Arts Center) in 1898."
