I used to watch TV marathons on a local channel during the Memorial Day weekend and again for Labor Day. I don’t remember which weekend was which show but one time it was the original Superman series and the other was Twilight Zone. And this was when marathons were actually aired 24 hrs rather than just like 9a – 8p before taking a break to air other stuff until the next day. I used to stay up really late to watch as much as I could.
I used to watch Soap marathons on Comedy Central but I don’t think it was during a holiday weekend or anything, it was just to air them. My friend and I love that show so we would call each other during the commercials to talk about it, haahah.
Ooh, I wish I could watch the NCIS marathon but tomorrow my son is advancing in Cub Scouts and we will be gone at the lake for a day of fun with the boys before the ceremony in the evening. Plus, it’s not something I really watch when my son is around since he’s only 6.
