I’m disappointed that you left out the U.S. Coast Guard from your list.
Arnold Palmer is one famous person who served in the Coast Guard.

Apologies, JMB… Adding the Coast Guard would have prompted me to include other defense-related groups as well… and I didn’t want the list to be too long. The USCG is certainly an underappreciated organization.
