"Hey look kids! There’s Big Ben, and there’s Parliament!” “Kids… Big Ben. Parliament, again.”

That was all i could think about when I went to see Big Ben for myself in 2007. I went with someone that didnt get the joke though (hadn't seen the movie)... after an explanation and actually getting stuck in a round about, she thought it was hilarious!

One of those great symbols we all recognize... I was fortunate enough to be in London near the tower when the bell struck midnight to usher in the new year of 1985. Just a cool way to spend the new year.

Well, I'm an American and I don't get the "Look, kids..." joke.
I guess it's from a movie orsomething?

I love Big Ben. It's one of my favorite landmarks. Great Britain (or the United Kingdom) wouldn't be Great Britain without Big Ben. Am I right or am I right?

A cousin of mine spent a semester studying in London. He took a double-decker bus tour of London. The tour guide said "Look kids, Big Ben!" when they were on the roundabout. The guide said that it was a good way of finding out who was from America as they were the only ones who laughed at the joke.
