Good ol’ Teddy Roosevelt was also the first president to leave the country during his Presidency. He visited Panama. (Although while double checking this info, someone noted that McKinley visited western territory that was not American yet.)

There is archival footage of Teddy’s first flight. It’s terrifying.

I wouldn’t say Bill actually got the ball from the pitcher’s mound to the catcher. He’s clearly a few feet in front of it.

Teddy was a former president by 1910.

Number 5 is slightly inaccurate. Teddy was an former president in 1910. He had left office in 1909.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1943 is the first president to fly while in office.
