I've been to most of the baseball stdiums in the US and Oriole Park at Camden Yards is the best Major League Baseball stadium. Fenway Park is great but transportation around it is substandard. Also, the climate does not allow for comfortable early and late season games.

I can say there are a few new stadiums that just aren't up to par. The first one that comes to mind is Phildelphia. Nearly every outfield seat has an obstructed view.

Excellence? Maybe if you like one line of cookie-cutter ballparks being replaced by a new generation of cookie-cutter ballparks. Pac Bell Park and Pittsburgh's ballpark are great because of the views. But all we have left are Fenway, Dodger Stadium, and Wrigley Field. Who cares about paying $200 to eat a $14 hot dog in yet another HOK-designed ballpark.
