I was born on Father’s day in 1987 and my dad always said that I was the best Father’s Day present. (Awww) And now tomorrow is my birthday, once again falling on Father’s Day. I think its happened once before in my life. I considered not getting my dad anything this year since I am the Father’s Day gift that keeps on giving and all (haha) but I opted for a huge popcorn assortment since dad has a bowl of popcorn every night.

4. I read that A.A. Milne’s son Christopher resented his father because he had a hard time living down the Christopher Robin character as an adult, which is pretty sad.

10. Not sure how far it got on the charts, but Neil Sedaka and his daughter Dara recorded “I Should’ve Never Let You Go” in 1980.

14. I think there’s a line in Stevie Wonder’s song where he says “Less than one minute old,” which is a good indicator he is talking about his newly-born daughter.

I recently saw Dick Hoyt speak – truly amazing. That first run they didn’t have anything resembling a racing wheelchair and Dick had never done any serious running before.

They have finished every event they’ve entered, and have never been last (competing against regular athletes).

Two of my favorite lullabies when my son was young was “Return to Pooh Corner”, which was written by Kenny Loggins for his third son, and John Lennon’s “Beautiful Boy”, written for his son Sean.

Both of these songs can bring a tear to my eyes even now.
