I do remember precisely where I was as I listened to Warren Morris hit the walk-off home run. I hope you can forgive me, then, if I take a moment to look ever so slightly disdainfully (although not at all rudely) over my left shoulder toward that big state west of me, smile like Calvin with a just-forming idea, and belt out a cheer in honor of my alma mater... *GEAUX* **TIGERS**!! Also, the 'Blatt will soon be no more: as part of the deal to keep the CWS in Omaha, the city is building a brand-new ballpark on the north end of downtown. (The local controversy was HUGE.) Just have to put in a few more things, for the sake of my hometown! What, no mention of Dingerville, neighbors making thousands off letting people park on their lawns, or “The Road to Omaha”?
