A funnel cake vendor would be nice. I got a funnel cake at the concession stand at an Oriels game and it was not fresh.

I would rather get my own hot dog. Usually there's a local favorite like a half smoke from the Ben's Chili Bowl concession at a Nationals.

I love watching the ground crew doing their final touches.

Working at a ballpark has its ups and downs. Working 60-90 hours a week with 3 hours of sleep in between is a downer, getting that big pay check at the end of the week will have you doing cartwheels.

I just saw on the news yesterday that one park did a thorough cleaning and then eliminated peanut vendors to protect any fans who may have peanut allergies.

A lot of ballparks have done away with the hot dog vendor. Gone the way of day baseball I guess.

I know at the Phillies Stadium, the beer vendors have to pay for their beer before they sell it. Which may be the reason for the over 21, if it is like that at all stadiums.

And as a side note, I have always wished for a funnel cake man! They just carry around giant vats of boiling oil and make the funnel cakes right there in the aisle and pass you a fresh one down once its done cooking. I do realize there are safety issues involved with carry hot vats of oil, but darn it a girl can dream!

My son, dad and I went to the Giants game at AT&T Park in SF on Sunday and the one vendor they didn't have walking around the stands was hot dogs.

At $4+ a pop, I can't imagine ordering more than one! But I always get one because, duh, that's what you're supposed to have a ball game and they are actually pretty darn good.
