		<description>I actually live about mere minutes from Topaz.  I am excited to check out some of this artist&#039;s work.  I find it interesting that we so rarely hear about this event in our country&#039;s history.  You may (or may not) find it interesting that after the camp was closed some of the barracks were brought into the nearby town and used as permanent homes for the local residents.</description>

		<description>Thanks for introducing me to this artist.  I know/knew so many who were imprisoned during the war - many have passed now.  I am so glad that some of the art and writings are being preserved.  There were so many unsung heros of Japanese Americans fighting in Europe and surviving in these \camps\ and it&#039;s good to see them being recognized from time to time.</description>
