It was a dormant kind of love until last year. I was at my friend's mother house in the central texas farm area and she had three feeders on her porch . At any given time there were at least 10 hummingbirds flitting about and zooming over the top of your head. The coolest part for me was when they would come to rest on a branch on the giant oak tree in front of the porch. They are just so tiny and amazing and they all had very distinct personalities. They have the biggest butterfly gardens in the world and they also have a several beautiful aviaries.
