Daphne

Hannah is kinda right, but only if "a" and "b" are the same, then 2a^2 or 2b^2 is okay. What are those called, isocolese? I can't spell... don't want to google.

I think she meant it as a pun, as b^2 is a pun of "be square," as in "it's hip to be square"), so to continue the pun, she's suggesting the "to" to be "2" instead.

Hannah - 2b^2 is not part of the pythagorean theorem, but b^2 is. (a^2 + b^2 = c^2)

Ok, so being the huge nerd I am, I have to say that my favorites are the Pythagoras Math Team shirt, and the Kinetic Energy shirt (I own the latter already...) but I have to say, shouldn't the Pythagoras shirt read "Pythagoras Math Team it's hip 2b^2"? Oh, and also, the shirt reminds me of a particular song by Hewie Lewis and the News....

ReCaptcha 80- lameness...
