In the classic world of mid-90s Nickelodeon television, one show that stood above the rest was The Adventures of Pete & Pete. The quirky, surreal life of two brothers, both named Pete, was hilarious, smart and always kept me captivated. How much do you remember about Big Pete, Little Pete and the other unusual elements of Wellsville?
Take the Quiz: The Adventures of Pete & Pete
I’m disappointed there were no Ellen questions (beyond the oblique band reference). Alison Fanelli was the best part about the show. :D

I didn’t realize how much I knew about the show until I took this quiz.
Steve Buscemi was the best part :)

I would have liked to see the question, “What’s the third line of the themesong?”. Too bad there’s not an answer to that question.

I’ve seen every episode! Same with Clarissa Explains it All, Doug, Hey Dude!, Salute Your Shorts, and GUTS… I’m 23 now, and grew up a Nickelodeon kid.

never heard of it, so your test is useless to me.

Ah, Pete and Pete, brings back memories! I was devoted to that, Clarissa Explains it All (just bought the DVDs), Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, Angry Beavers, and Are You Afraid of the Dark? Oh how I miss those shows! And then there was Eerie, Indiana, can’t remember what station that was on, was it Disney?

Such a great show, so much awesome music from Pete and Pete as well. There’s actually a new benefit compilation out featuring covers of the songs of Mark Mulcahy (maybe better known as the singer of the Pete & Pete house band, Polaris). An amazing group of artists helped contribute, including Thom Yorke and Michael Stipe. Check it out on Mulcahy’s Myspace page! http://www.myspace.com/markmulcahymusic
