By the way, Brecher (Harpo called him “Irv the Nerve”) has his own new book out: THE WICKED WIT OF THE WEST, which Groucho called him when he “spiked” up “The Wizard of Oz” in the late 30s. Irv’s TWWOTW has gotten rave-vues so far from The Boston Globe, Leonard Maltin…avail on Amazon under Irving Brecher or Wicked Wit!

Okay, just letting fellow flossers know. Sacks DID say Brech was the funniest of all the writers in his new book HERE’S THE KICKER. That means funnier than Sedaris, Ramis, Silverman and Mazer?
