I’ve never lived in New York City, but I have visited the Big Apple. The city is much larger than it appears on a map, or seems that way because of all the people and all the architecture. The city is divided into five boroughs – Brooklyn, The Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. Within those boroughs, you’ll find neighborhood names that seem very familiar even to the general public due to their use in the media. (Most people know that Times Square is in Manhattan, for instance, and that Flushing is in Queens.) Given two choices, can you identify the boroughs where these fifteen New York neighborhoods lie? Good luck!
Take the Quiz: New York Neighborhoods
93% (missed the last one). A bit surprised–I guessed completely on a number of them.

15 outta 15. If I had gotten any of these wrong I would have had my NY citizenship revoked.

100% Booya! Yeah, a miss on any of these as a resident would result in exile to Jersey City or (shudder) Long Island.

I got 14/15. I have never been to New York City. I knew some of them, but the rest was all guessing.
