I think I read, maybe even on m_f, that some woman had survived multiple falls from doomed planes and plane crashes.

I’m guessing “Tetsuya, become respectable” may have lost a bit of meaning in the translation.

I don’t quite know what to think about those final words.

I’m not a fan of flying….always paranoid the plane will crash. Sadly, I often have to travel for work, but “free trip to Chicago/San Diego/San Francisco etc” often wins over “scared of death.” Well, ok, so “keeping my job” wins over that, too.

Wow……..I felt like I was reading a riveting novel! Great story although sad…..and I’m still NOT going to watch Airport 77, 78 or any of those movies…..I’m such a baby! But at least these were the happy endings. I’ll still watch Airplane though. Looks like I picked the wrong day to quit smoking!
