

Let’s face it, even your grandmother knows her DOC from her XLS. So let’s skip the real easy ones and test your knowledge of some popular applications, with less-commonly known file extensions.
These days, most apps open many different kinds of files, and allow you to save your work in different formats. So your job here is to ID the one extension of the four that’s most commonly associated with the application mentioned.

By default iTunes imports music as AAC with the .m4a extension. http://support.apple.com/kb/TA26496 AIFF can be selected along with other formats.

Even though I got 9 out of 10, I still think its completely unfair to make a quiz of file extensions with both MAC and PC Programs. Its like making a quiz about controls for video games that are available for both PS3 and XBOX360…
