I think spontaneous human combustion happens when deformed hemoglobin in a person' body collect large amounts of hydrogen and with the electrical surges of nerves going through one's body, it sets the hydrogen off creating spontaneous human combustion. Why do the objects around the victim not burn? This happens because hydrogen doesn't burn anything around it, it just burns itself. It is all really simple and I think that it isn't fake and that it can happen

Continued... target to being at a area of convergence of microwave energy from cell phone towers. I don't know, nor do I really care. I.just don't want to go through that again!

About 4 years ago I had something happen to me that may be related to the SHC phenomena. While driving to work on a day off, I was stressed out about having to go in. As I was about to make the first turn off of my street, my left arm became extremely hot, fire hot! I could smell everything in my truck getting hot, the plastic, metal, my clothes, and my arm. Then, all of a sudden the air around me became blast furnace hot, I immediately turned on my air conditioner, but the air was only hot. I pulled off to the side of the road, popped the hood, and got out to look for the heat source. I found nothing! All the while welcoming the cold outside air as it made me feel better, but I still felt as if I were in a dream. Just then, as soon as it had started, it ended, as if a switch had been turned off. I suddenly became so cold, my skin was covered with sweat and I was still outside in the cold. The day was overcast and about 40 degrees fahrenheit, that's cold in Texas. Thinking that maybe I had a stroke or heart-attack, I called an ambulance. After a battery of tests, they found nothing! I then tested everything in and on my truck, I found nothing either! I have been ridiculed by almost everyone I told this to, but I don't care because it's the truth. I have been told everything from being a DOD nanite

i think when someone has knowingly or unknowingly inhaled something chemically flamable and then come in contact with an eccelerant that might cause one to burn inside out

Um, you could stand to do a bit more research into the phenomenon. Most supposed SHC cases have been shown to have three common factors: victim incapacitated, source of combustion, and long period of time before being found. That's all that's needed to reduce a corpse to ash with even a low temperature smoldering fire - the high temperatures usually quoted (3000 degrees fahrenheit) are only necessary to reduce a body to ash quickly, as a crematorium would need to do. Most victims had a nearby source of combustible material, such as a chair, to fuel the fire as well.

It's hard to maintain you're seeing any kind of strange occurrence when two of the three descriptors, "spontaneous" and "human," can't even be established in the majority of cases. Taking burning accidents, as in three of your seven cases, as examples of SHC also seems to be reaching.

The website Howstuffworks.com has some of the scientific theories behind SHC. One theory I see a lot of in skeptical articles is the "wick effect". The fat in a human can act like the wax in a candle.
