These quizzes are usually fun but this was so random. I live in California I have never heard of or seen an interstate 8. There is a 4 that goes to the central valley and some other roads people actually take are 5, 99, 101, 80, 680, 880, 280, 580, 780, 980, 24, 395, 50, 80, 237, 405, and the 605.

As for the rest of them they all seemed to be in Texas. I've only been in Texas once running thru the dallas Ft. worth airport so yeah not your best quiz.

I agree with Jonny. I too learned evens E-W, odds N-s, etc. I didnt do too badly myself but I think this quiz is a bit too obscure. Need more direction (no pun intended).

Jason, now i know why you need mapquest or garmin -- you obviously have an uncanny way of screwing up even the most simple of tasks.

I agree with cajun3core, even though you have a point Jonny. I used your same logic about the E-W evens and N-S odds and still only got 9/15. Got all of the interstates, but not so many of the state routes. This only helped narrow down the choices to two in most cases, then you were guessing. The triple digit bypass rule only applies to interstate highways, not state routes. I would have preferred this quiz if it were only 10 questions and limited to interstates.

I disagree cajun2core. I got 11 out 15 (73%) which I consider doing well, about twice the average score, and I only "knew" the answer to interstate 90.

I used logic to narrow my choices, and only got 4 wrong, usually only off by a state.

If you know the logic behind the numbering system (evens E-W, odds N-S, 3 digit hiways are metro-area bypasses, Interstates will go further cross-country than a route typically will) then you can infer things about the correct direction and length to the other terminus.

I got 60% which when I see the average is 36% I feel really good! This test was not at all reasonable. To do well on this test a person would have to *know* the exact answers. With these questions and answers there was no way to logically figure out the correct answer for many of the questions.
