What about the Cause-head, who posts constantly about whatever cause it is they are into? Animal rights, gay marriage, 2nd amendment, you name it they post about it.

My least favorite though is the “Repost this Status”er. Some of them can be quite preachy, too, like “Those of you who don’t repost this just really want puppies to dies of cancer.”

How about those people that update their own status with a message for one friend, like “Happy Birthday Sally! Have a good one!” Seriously? I couldn’t care about this non-mutual-friend Sally. Pretty retarded.

I don’t get it. I joined intending to be D, because I got so much crap for having a baby and not letting relatives know when she started eating solids, learned to walk, said her first word, etc. So I figured, updates and pictures on Facebook! And now I am only “friends” with a bunch of people I haven’t spoken to in years – for good reasons.

Not one person who really wants to see a picture of my kid in her Easter dress has any interest in Facebook. Just as well, I found updating to be far too time consuming. Phone calls, emails and actual visits are more satisfying.

What happened to just getting on facebook to connect with your friends? I personally liked it better when it was open to college students only and you didn’t have to wade through friend requests from relatives that never speak to you in real life, or people you had a class with once in middle school. Having said that, most of the facebook stuff talked about here doesn’t bother me–I hide the stuff I don’t want to see, and only actively follow my close friends.

The guilt-tripper: â€œLetâ€™s see if you will re-post thisâ€¦â€ Their posts are usually something to do with Jesus, so this is possibly a variation of The Evangelizer but sometimes is has to do with cancer or animal rights or whatever. I support causes I believe in, in my own way; I am not going to re-post your post because you made me feel guilty.

The Salesman: I had to hide a friend who sells on EBay and would post her auctions and products all day long.

Mr & Mrs: The profile name is something like â€œThe Smith Familyâ€ or â€œKim & Billâ€ Barf. I am Â½ of a whole but I have my own identity, life and personality.

I’m not sure if its been totally mentioned (the over-liker was closest i think) but the person that i can’t stand on facebook is the Facebook Whore, who is basically a combination of the list and several of the comment suggestions. This person contsantly likes and comments on random people’s statuses (people they barely even know) and then post all of their game and quiz updates. they also update their status constantly because, ya know, everyone wants to know that they just woke up, are having a bowl of cereal, and then they’re going to go walk their dog before watching Finding Nemo with their little sister. I can name several people on facebook like this.
