		<description>It&#039;s my personal belief that Patti Smith&#039;s version of &quot;Gloria&quot; is infinitely better than the Van Morrison original. Which isn&#039;t to put down the original, either. I actually like it, too. Patti Smith&#039;s version just strikes me as better, though. (Then again, it could have something to do with the fact that she was a woman singing the song, and I could really identify with that.)</description>
