ha! i wrote the accession sheet for that exact collar and tiara at the Chicago History Museum. there were also tons of Lady Greyhound dog costumes that looked kind of like saddles, made of felt and covered with sequins. also little red rubber booties.

And greyhounds and other pet dogs are not allowed on Greyhound.

Amtrak runs a train called “Saluki” in the Midwest (A saluki is a kind of Arabian greyhound) but no pet dogs allowed either.

Almost all trains and many buses carry pet dogs in Europe, but none of these vehicles or services are named after dogs.

How about those hordes of cute golden retriever puppies that Dirt Devil vacuums had for years? Those commercials were great.
