The National Football League is divided into two conferences – National and American. Each conference is then subdivided into four divisions – North, South, East, and West – each with four teams. Each team’s goal is to win their division and thus reach the playoffs.
A team’s division may play an important role in its success. Since each NFL team plays the other teams in its division twice each year (home and away), a spot in a division filled with good teams can mean a long season for fans. In a weaker division, an average team can often make the playoffs because, although they’re only average, they’re better than the division’s other three teams.
Of course, America isn’t divided neatly into North, South, East, and West… and sometimes, teams are placed wherever they might fit. Are the Philadelphia Eagles considered East or North? And are they AFC or NFC? In today’s Lunchtime Quiz, you’ll attempt to identify the correct divisions for 15 different NFL teams. Good luck!

Nice job, Joe! I’ll admit, I would’ve scored 100% on it too, but I watch the standings more than I actually watch the games.

I fumbled on three of them (pun intended). I missed one because i misread the AFC/NFC option and the other two were north/south screw-ups. GRAHH!! I may have gone too fast through it. My only big concern is the NFC East though, and i lose hair each year because of it. My fingers are crossed this year for a playoff birth and something better than 8-8.
WORD OF ADVICE: take this test slow!

Before I took the quiz I said I ought to be shot if I got any wrong. 15/15, I guess I’m safe.
