@ Ranger J

There was a 2001 TV movie (I thought I saw it on the History Channel) starring Gerard Butler (of 300 fame) as Atilla. It did have this episode incorporated somehow, I don't remember the details, but the marriage proposal to Atilla was made when a ring was sent to him, presumably by the Honoria character, and the ring was proof of Atilla's claim, or so the story went.

It played up the relationship between Powers Boothe and Atilla, who spent time together as children when Powers Boothe, a Roman noble, was sent to the Huns as a hostage, to help maintain the peace. Then as adults, this relationship is tested by Atilla's ambition.

And here I thought Paris Hilton's behavior did damage to the Hilton Empire.

reCaptcha: deal outfoxed (Honoria's brother isn't as stupid as she thought)
