Attaining the rank of Eagle Scout is one of the hardest things young men can do, along with controlling their volatile hormones and not getting laughed at by girls for participating in an organization whose uniform requires a scarf. Some, however, manage to persevere, complete the requirements and join the ranks that few have dared to reach. These are a few of those men…or are they?
Take the Quiz: Was He An Eagle Scout?
Very cool to see this quiz, though surprising to see that David Lynch wasn’t on it.

Can we get the female counterpart to this quiz? Who has their Gold Award/Eaglet/whatever name it went by when she got it?
I’m about a month away from marrying an Eagle Scout. Hoping he can score better than I did on this! I would probably beat him on the Girl Scout one though.

Just a quick comment: My husband is an Eagle Scout and he’s always pointing out to me that the rank, once gained, is held for life. Thus one would ask, “IS he an Eagle Scout?”, not “WAS he?”. Well, I guess it would be “was” in Harpo Marx’s case, but everyone else in the quiz is still living. =)

Kelsey is right. It should be, “Is he an Eagle Scout.”

One that I know is missing:
L. Ron Hubbard, who was at the time (and who may still be) the youngest to reach Eagle Scout.

I think Gerald Ford was also an Eagle Scout.

This guy I work with is an Eagle scout (Glenn). He is really really really smart. I’m super duper smart too but I’m not an Eagle scout :( I’m just Steve.
