Ken “The Hawk” Harrelson, the Chicago White Sox announcer (who has a good nickname himself) has come up with some good ones in his time. For example, Carlos “El Caballo” Lee (as mentioned above, Frank “Big Hurt” Thomas, Craig “Little Hurt” Grebeck, “Black Jack” McDowell, Lance “One Dog” Johnson, “The Silent Assasin” Javier Vazquez, Alexi “The Cuban Missle” Ramirez, “The Deacon” Warren Newson…to name a few.
